Project 31 Apprentice Training Program (ATP)

The goal of the Apprentice Training Program is to develop and hone the technique and artistry of promising dancers.

 

Dancers in the Apprentice Training Program are selected either through

audition or Project31 sponsored workshops. 

 

Dancers in the Apprentice Training Program:

  • Participate in weekly rehearsal  and company classes

  • Enjoy performance opportunities  throughout the dance season

  • Perform in Project31 Concerts

  • Take part in professional photoshoots

  • Have the opportunity to work with guest choreographers and instructors

  • Access to discounted Project31 Workshops & Merchandise

Requirements:

  • Requirements for Participation :

  • Minors must have parental consent and support  to participate 

  • Apprentices must be at least 15 years old by September 2021.

  • Apprentices must be selected through an Audition 

  • Apprentices are required to attend weekly rehearsals and company class on Sundays at Project31 Dance Studio: 1284 Washington Street Weymouth

  • Dancers must understand that ATP is a supplement to their regular studio training. 

  • Apprentices must be dancing a minimum of 6 hours of technique class per week outside of company class and rehearsal. 

  •  The Project31 Apprentice Training Program is supplementary to the dancers’ studio dance training. We value the technical training apprentice dancers receive from their studio. Dancers are excused from Project31 events and rehearsals for mandatory studio commitments such as competitions, rehearsals, and recitals as long as the director is made aware of such dates at least four weeks in advance.

 

Tuition for the Apprentice Training Program is $105 per month.
