Heather Goldman (Newton, MA) 

Heather began her dance training at age 4. She currently studies ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap at Joanne Langione Dance Center under the direction of Joanne Langione. She has had the pleasure of training under Meli Currie, Jen Snyder, and others at her dance studio. Heather has had the opportunity to work with guest choreographers Teddy Forance, Chantel Aguirre, Nick Anthony, Channing Cooke, and Nick Bass. While studying abroad in Australia during her sophomore year of high school, she continued her dance studies and performed in two local showcases. Heather has trained in summer intensives at the Dean Summer Arts Institute, Intensity at The School of Classical Ballet, and Joanne Langione Dance Center's Un.Convention. She is excited to train and perform as a Project31 Apprentice for the 2019-2020 season.

Ruthie Kerber (Hingham, MA)

Ruthie began dancing at the age of four at the Hingham Community Center. For the last six years Ruthie has trained at Raquelle's Dance Company in Cohasset, M. At Raquelle’s, she has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop with Kenzie Finn, Stacey Melvoen, Lacey Sasso, and Deirdre Lewis. She has performed as a guest artist in Sasso & Company's "Deeply Rooted", Project 31's "Through This Lens", “Under Control”, and “Instinct”, as well as the Dance for World Community Festival. When Ruthie isn’t dancing, she loves performing with the Hingham HIgh Drama Club. Ruthie is looking forward to a great season apprenticing for Project 31!

Siobhan Morris (Falmouth, MA)

Siobhan Morris trained at Cape Cod Dance Center in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary since the age of 5 under Eveline Carle, Meredith Langton, Kaitlin Scannell, and Megan Carmichael. She is currently training at Harper Dance Center under Sheena Harper, Jenna Antonecchi, and Dawn Marie Nee. During her time at Cape Cod Dance Center, Siobhan performed solo variations and lead roles in annual performances taught classes as well as intensive summer camps. Siobhan also competed with the Proto Casano School of Irish Dance under the direction of Jeanine Casano, winning 13th place in the New England Region Oireachtas in 2016. With Project31, Siobhan has had the privilege to perform at Dance for World Community Festival and the Southern Vermont Dance Festival. Siobhan is delighted to embark on her second season with Project31 and hopes to pursue a professional dance career in the future.

Sonya Penanhoat (Scituate, MA)

Sonya began her dance training at the age of three at Raquelle's Dance Studio under the direction of Raquelle Castonguay . At Raquelle's she has had the pleasure of studying with Kenzie Finn, Lacey Sasso, Kate McShea, Rachel Buffer, Robert Robinison, Patricia Beagini, Stacey Melvoen,and Deirdre Lewis. Sonya is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. Currently Sonya is a sophomore at Thayer Academy where she trains extensively in the  school's department. Sonya has participated in workshops and Intensives with Jean Appolon Expressions, Tribe, The Dance Company and Project 31. She has performed  at the Dance for World Community Festival, several Dance2Save Benefit Concerts as well as in numerous competitions, charity events, and recitals. When Sonya isn't dancing she is in the pool training and competing  with her swim team. Sonya is excited to apprentice with Project 31 this season!

Sarah Toubes-Marquis (Andover, MA)

Sarah has been dancing since the age of two at North Andover School of Dance in North Andover, MA, under the direction of Deborah and Leo Lamontagne. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary and musical theater. A junior in high school, Sarah has competed in both regional and national dance competitions, winning special recognition for exceptional entertainment and improvisation. At NASD she has been featured in Master routines choreographed by Gage Waynem, Miranda Durbin, Scott Fowler and Angela Carter. Sarah has performed in both professional regional theater and community theater as well as independent film. Aside from her greatest love - dancing - Sarah loves her New Hampshire summer camp (and summer camp friends). This is Sarah's first season with Project31.

Madie DeOliviera (Plymouth, MA)

Madie is currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Dean College in Franklin, MA. Madie began dancing at Manomet School of Dance in Plymouth, MA. For high school she attended Rising Tide Charte School where she was fortunate to pursue her passion for dance under the mentorship of Charlotte Rosen. At Rising Tide, Madie studied ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, and West African dance. This is Madie's second season interning for Project31 and first season  performing as an apprentice!
